Hostel Suomenlinna serves groups and travellers in unique world heritage surroundings. Hostel Suomenlinna is situated in a renovated school and offers an excellent base for exploring Suomenlinna and Helsinki - around the year!
Suomenlinna is easy to access. The ferry goes from the market square and the trip takes only 15 minutes. Helsinki local tickets are valid on the ferry, but not on the water buses. It takes only a couple of minutes to walk from the ferry to Hostel Suomenlinna.

Accomodation
Hostel Suomenlinna has 40 beds: 30 beds in dorms for 6, 8 and 10 people and 10 beds in rooms for 2-3 people. Showers and toilets are shared ones and in the corridor. There is a self service kitchen corner in the hostel and a free wireless
internet connection.
Tasty breakfast is served by order.
Hostel prices 8.3.-31.10.2010 :
A bed in a dorm of 6, 8 or 10 beds: 25e/per person/night. Bed linen included.
Twin: 64e/night/room. Bed linen and towels included.
Triple: 90e/night/room. Bed linen and towels included.
Buffet breakfast: 6,50e/adult, 4e/child under 12years.
Meetings
Hostel Suomenlinna offers a 40-person meeting room at your disposal. There are several other meeting rooms on the island in case our meeting room is booked. More information from Hostel Suomenlinna's reception by phone or by e-mail.
School camps, seminars, family events...
Hostel Suomenlinna provides an excellent setting for different events. We have hosted seminars, family events, courses and school camps with tutoring. It is possible to have the whole building for your group only. We are happy to help you with planning.

The reception is open 4th August -30th September 2010:
MON-SAT 9am-17.45pm, SUN 9am-3pm.
1st October 2010 -> Mon-Fri 9am-4.45pm, Sat 9am-3.30pm, Sun 9am-1pm.
The hostel is open all around the year.
Hostel Suomenlinna is run by the Finnish Youth Centres.
